The brief was to have simple yet elegant looking office with a European Touch. The company is primarily an IT firm, diversified into many other activities like leisure management, travels, etc- with offices in 6 cities across the continents. The office is thus based on straight lines with the curve used only above the reception on a ceiling element, in order to create the central focus. The extensive use of glass compliments the minimum use of colours and materials, lending the space a translucent quality. Fluorescent orange has been used on a backdrop wall to highlight the white foreground. The director’s cabin has been spaced deliberately and fashioned to appear austere and simple; it reflects the transition in hierarchy at the same time gives it the desired corporate yet extremely functional look.
